Continued Research is a ‘must’!

Amber Law opened in March 2013 as Gibraltar’s first Holistic Law firm, integrating wellbeing tools with the practice of law.
Having created a Holistic Law model from an amalgamation of my legal experience since 1999 in civil and criminal litigation; charity work; studies in yoga practices and an awareness of the great benefits to health and wellbeing for lawyers and clients alike, of holistic healing practices, I continue researching year on year about alternative methods of dispute resolution.
The adversarial legal system can produce anti-therapeutic results for its users; for Judges, lawyers and clients, the effects of which may be detrimental for years. I therefore lean towards learning and adapting therapeutic systems of practising Law. To be a successful lawyer, you must be invested in your duty of care towards your client and your clients’ wellbeing throughout the legal process. Empower yourself and your clients with tools for not only surviving but thriving post court/ tribunal hearings. The positive ripple effect will be felt not only by clients, but also by their family, friends and work colleagues; basically everyone with whom they relate! This has been shared with me as client feedback which is very rewarding and keeps me motivated to continue working and walking in alignment with purpose, down the Holistic method of Legal Practice.
